It was my way of blowing off the assignment without trying very hard, so I didn't think much of it. But when I got the critiques back, every one of them was "speechless". One kid wrote something like, "is there something wrong with you?" I thought the story was supposed to be funny, but I guess I exceeded some comfortable boundaries. Except for the instructor.
