The 2011 Global Game Jam is here and the most brilliant programmers of our generation are pooling their collective erudite knowledge to forge works of binary brilliance.
You're thinking it too, right? This guy's a god-damned genius.
And their keynote speaker is Keita Takahashi who fits this whole operation like a glove.
Mr. Takahashi defies all keynote speeches in history by giving a speech where he doesn't say anything.
All in all, Global Game Jam might be the coolest thing ever. I'm just not sure if game design is going to benefit at all from this event.
